Wave was born in Madrid, Spain in 2014 and it was commercially launched in 2015 after the Founders CEO Manuel De La Esperanza and COO Luis Gelado noticed in a daily situation struggling while waiting for a colleague that there was no real solution in the geolocation app market – a huge orphan market, a huge opportunity.

Wave has now a talented team of more than 20 employees, daily traffic in more than 190 countries and millions of happy users around the world (and counting!).
